Panama opens new investment opportunities, with $350 million allocated to infrastructure.

During his weekly media conference on Thursday, February 20th, Panama’s president, José Raúl Mulino, has announced a US$350 million investment plan targeting 14 strategic projects nationwide. 


This initiative presents promising opportunities for international investors seeking to engage in Panama’s growing market.



The plan prioritizes key sectors such as water infrastructure, healthcare, education and governance, aiming to modernize essential services.



Key opportunities for investors include:


🚰 Water infrastructure: Construction of over 120 wells and modernization of water treatment plants in strategic locations such as Arraiján, Colón, and David.


🩺 Healthcare sector: Construction and modernization of hospitals in San Miguelito, Colón, Bugaba, Penonomé, and Las Tablas.


📖 Education: Rehabilitation and development of new educational facilities.


👮‍♂️ Correctional infrastructure: Building a new penitentiary center in Colón Province and modernizing the women’s rehabilitation center in Pacora.
